“Aug 17, 2014 was when I first met Alexandra Orlando and we started talking about working together to define her image for her next steps in her career through sport. It wasn't until 2 years later when we were finally able to lock down a shoot date, after juggling our jobs, her commitments representing Canadian athletes, helping with the organization of the Pan Am Games and 2 of the busiest years of my photography career.

It constantly serves as a reminder to me that the universe is going to work on its own time and things will align when they're meant to. These photos took 2 years to make and 1/200th of a second to take. So you tell me was the 2 years worth it?“ - Andrew Palmer

“This day + shoot will always be one of my faves xo” - Alexandra Orlando, OLY (when commenting on our first shoot together)
